Creating a Transaction Validation Node on the MDMCoin Blockchain – WINDOWS

Minimum device requirements

• RAM – 2048 MB / 2 GB
• Processor – 2 Core – 2.0 Ghz
• Storage – 10 GB

To create a node on the MDMCoin digital currency blockchain and be able to validate transactions/mine and receive rewards in new coins, follow these steps:

1. Download the MDMCoin node software available from the link below and your node configuration file and install it on your device.

     • Windows
       • Create a new user called mdmcoin on Windows using the following tutorial from the Microsoft website. Click here!.
       • Create a folder called mdmcoin on a separate drive from the main one where the operating system is installed. Click here and use this tutorial from the Microsoft website to create the drive.
       • Access the mdmcoin folder 
2. Install the dependencies and configure the node to your preferences, including firewall and security settings.

       • install the latest version of JAVA on your computer through the following link. CLICK HERE
       • Release the doors 7870 (obligatory) and 7879 (optional) in the Windows Firewall to allow the integration of your NODE with the MDMCOIN network
         • Use the following tutorial from the Microsoft website CLICK HERE!
       • Create your wallet to be integrated into the node for you to receive your rewards through our decentralized web wallet https://wallet.mdmcoin.com/
     • Edit the settings file mdm.conf (Download dthe latest version!) according to the requested information, use the following procedures.
       • In the option waves – > directory change from “/mdmcoin” to “D:/mdmcoin“. (Note: Change the letter D according to the drive where you created the mdmcoin folder)
       • In the option waves – > data-directory change from “/mdmcoin/data” to “D:/mdmcoin/data“. (Note: Change the letter D according to the drive where you created the mdmcoin folder)
       • In the option network -> bind-address, change the value 0.0.0.0 to 127.0.0.1
       • In the option network -> declared-address change SERVER-IP to 127.0.0.1
       • Create a password containing letters and numbers for your NODE in the option WALLET settings – > password, in the file mdm.conf
       • In the option WALLET settings – > seed use the tool in the link https://tools.mdmcoin.com/ to convert your wallet Keywords into BASE58 format.
       • In the link https://nodes.mdmcoin.com/api-docs/index.html#/utils/hashSecure (Converts the password you created into WALLET settings – > password to your wallet integrated with your node in a secure Hash and enter it in the option rest-api -> api-key-hash)
       • In the option rest-api -> bind-address change the value SERVER-IP to 127.0.0.1
       • Note: Never place the mdm.conf file in a publicly accessible folder.
3. Start and Synchronize the node with the MDMCOIN blockchain. This may take some time, depending on the speed of your internet connection.
   • To start your node, run the following command in the folder where the files are located mdm-all-*.jar and mdm.conf the windows terminal (cmd) panel (Starting CMD):
     • java -jar mdm-all-1.0.1.jar mdm.conf (Note: Run the command for version 1.0.1, change to the latest version if necessary.)
     • After executing the command above, wait a few minutes and check if your IP address is already on our list of NODES, it usually takes about 30 minutes.

     • If you have enabled the API and installed it on your local computer, go to: localhost:7879 or 127.0.0.1:7879 to check if your NODE is active.
4. Get a sufficient amount of MDMCOIN through the exchanges where the currency is listed or through the Exchange DEX and send this amount to the wallet of the NODE you created and have the private keys or passwords, this way you become a full node and can receive rewards in MDMCOINs for validating transactions that occur on average every 60 seconds. Currently, it is necessary to have at least 1000 MDMs balance in your NODE wallet.
5. Keep your copy of the blockchain updated and your security settings up to date to be able to generate new blocks and earn new rewards. The higher the balance in your node-integrated wallet, the greater your chances of receiving rewards.
6. Remember that being a full node on the MDMCOIN blockchain requires dedication and responsibility, as you will be helping to maintain the integrity of the network and your node must be active 24 hours a day. But at the same time, you will have the opportunity to earn rewards in MDMs for your participation.
